The essays were due in on Friday, though for those who didn't manage the deadline, I negotiated extensions. Remember to always write deadlines in your planner! Where are you stuck? I can try to help.

Miss Davidson, can you please help me with the "fourth stanza"? "Explain how the verse differs and say why the poet does this." I don't get what it's about, is it how he goes from when the man comes "guttering and choking" and then to the bit with the wagon?  |

Hi Scott, In answer to your question, 'fumbly' probably isn't a real word as such but it does get your point across! You could use 'awkward' or 'difficult' instead? www.thesaurus.com should have some ideas for you! Miss Davidson |
