Jason Brown Persuasive Essay
Fuel in cars will cover many more topics than just fuel. It will cover environmental topics and cars. Hybrid cars are vehicles that uses two or more distinct power sources to move the vehicle. These hybrid cars have just as many faults as they have upsides. This is a controversial topic because people will have different out looks on this topic. People will think that global warming is effecting the earth and we need to change our ways. Others might not believe in global warming and keep driving the way they do. Imagine a world that keeps evolving, this may sound good but experiments are needed to process every possible outcome of the experiment and with experiments that go wrong can still harm the environment. Everything will soon work with computers, even cars now a days have computers! So imagine how hard it would be to get a job if you found it hard to work computers.
I think we should not change the way we live because we are used to it. I think if you are going to change something, you can gradually do it rather than suddenly change it. Since 2008 hybrid cars have hit a high sale but road accidents increased by 5%. This is because of the change from petrol cars to hybrid cars. These cars will have a slight different drive control to each other and this is causing accidents. An advert on t.v proves gradual change is a better way to go. Switch lights and t.v’s off stand by although this is a slight change it has worked. Even my mum has now bought eco lights.
I do not think we should use hybrid cars because it has been proven that these cars are unreliable on a review site. Someone had said that they had bought a hybrid car and the battery kept running out so that it had to be replaced. The company replaces the battery for free but companys thrive on making money so there must be more things wrong with this car for the company to make money. These cars are expensive to fix from the components the engine is made from because when some componets are mixed with the wrong parts they will react. If you are interested in your cars then I should tell you that todays cars are still faster than hybrid cars. This is because the faster you drive your car releases more petrol or fuel, hybrid cars prevent this. But if you like driving fast then why settle for less?
There is an upside to hybrid cars and that is that the tax will be considerably less than that of a petrol car. This is because hybrid cars run on (CNG) compressed natural gas. This CNG is a fossil fuel which is substituted for gasoline. Compressed natural gasses produce green house emmitions but much cleaner than petrol gasses.
I think we should stick to what we know personally because me personally, I like cars. I like the noise of a powerful car driving along the road. What’s in these cars for you other than cheaper tax? Although there has been more accidents on the roads with these cars there has been a decrease in deaths from road accidents in hybrid cars but if we stuck to what we knew in the first place there would be no more accidents than there already was. We have used these gasoline cars for decades now, whats the point in getting rid of them? I think soon the government will make everyone drive around in hybrid cars although it is slightly helping because these cars still release harmful gasses will it be enough?
