Persuasive Essay Abortion.
Abortion, murder or not murder? In my opinion not. Abortion is a contraversual topic and people have strong opinions about it because, some people can't see past the cruel side to abortion which makes them unable to see the more longterm benifitial side of abortion. Although banning abortion is up for debate, I believe if it was banned people would spiral out of control and have to have children they can't afford or arn't ready for which leads to more children being put in care. There would be extreme financial problems in familys, and would lead young teenage girls to have unwanted children. Is this really a good thing?
It is thought that mainly all abortions are for young girls, infact according to statistics half the percentage of woman having abortion are under the age of 25. Without the choice of abortion woman would be forced to have a baby thats unwanted, maybe not unwanted but a baby that their not ready for or able to look after properly. By stopping abortions more woman would have to leave full time education to become a full time mum. Do you think this is right for a young girl to do?
On the other hand some woman have abortions on the terms of them being sexually abused. Facts show some women who choose not to have an abortion after being raped can suffer from traumatic phychological pain later in their lives, due to reliving the most horrible time of their life. Even some of the women begin to resent their child because of what happened to them. Which is not fair on the child or the mother as it is not fair for a woman not to be able to love their own child because of some digusting man. Would it be fair for a woman to be forced to live a life like that, because this would be the consequences woman would have to face if abortion was not an option.
Why should anyone be able to tell anyone what they can and cannot do? Woman have rights and should not be frowned apon at all for having an abortion. Everyone has a reason for anything they do. So how is this any different? A woman having an abortion is her own business why should anyone else care. Women have abortions for their own reasons and grieve enough after without people going on about how bad abortion is.
In my opinion abortion is acceptable. It is a womans own decision what she does with her body and her life, and no one elses. So i do not understand why people feel they have to express their opinions to others who already know their own. People should be less concered about others and more about themselves.
