Hi again By popular request, here are the class notes we had on the smartboard for "The Great Gatsby". We'll be doing some revision of Gatsby on Wednesday this week just to re-activate that knowledge in your minds! Ms L Attachments:

Hi Dan You should have in your notes all of the quotes you would need for the novel. A bank of 20-30 would be enough to cover any question that you might answer. We obviously focused on the theme of the failure of the American Dream. Any essay you wrote would connect to that theme. As this is what the novel is about, all of the quotes come back to this, whether they're spoken by or about Gatsby, Daisy, Tom etc. Does that make sense? You will have quotes from pretty much every chapter anyway in your notes. Come and talk to me tomorrow if you want any more explanation about this! Cheers Ms L
