Hi folks
Remember study support is on Wednesday after school. This will be a kind of Gatsby 999 session, answering any questions that you may still have about the novel e.g. how DO cars symbolise the idea of social mobility in the novel? What does it mean when Myrtle is killed by Gatsby's car in the Valley of Ashes? We will then brainstorm quotes that we've remembered (hopefully lots after this week's homework!) and discuss how we would use these quotes in critical essays.
Try to have a look at the new Gatsby trailer if you can. It's on Youtube. Useful for recapping ideas about the novel.
