* Write out quotes over and over
* Write on post-its and stick around the house
* Read over notes before I go to sleep (good cure for insomnia?)
* Rewrite quotes / analysis over and over again
* Get rid of distractions
* Set revision times
* Read online articles, write down purpose, tone, imagery, word choice examples / analysis
* Frequently look over glossary made from past papers
* Re-read texts looking for evidence to support different themes
* Compare revision essays to timed essays, highlight major areas of strength and weakness
* Use 'My SQA' study plan
* Flash cards :quote one side, analysis another
* Songs / rhymes
* Read, cover, write, check quotes
* Look over Close Reading feedbacks (generic tips)
* Make plans for different essay questions
* Record quotes on phone and listen back to them
* Complete different essay plans (mind maps / spider diagrams / bullet points)
* Stick to timed conditions when practising essay writing
* Get a dart board and attach quotes to it. Throw a dart and analyse the quote that it lands on for a specific question. Repeat until knowledge of texts is sound.
