Puss in boots fairytale character homework
Friday 22nd July
It was just another day at the office. Sitting in the dark polishing my boots waiting for the next customer. just as I passed off into a doze there was a knock at the door. A small person wearing full black hesitantly walked into the room. "I need a job done" he said "for a specialist like you". I peered over the rim of my hat and starred him right in the eyes. The fear was eveident in his eyes and the sweat was rolling off his nose. " what job " I whispered keeping my mysterious identity. The man explaied to me that he wanted a ogre killed as soon as possible stuttering between words. This will come at a high price I said. Then the man pulled out a deep brown sack and slammed it on the table. The gold poured all over the table lighting up the whole room with its initceing glow. My eyes lit up the second the riches were shown. I grabbed every last piece of gold and stuffed it under the table. "Of course master " I exclaimed grabbing my sword and my boots in a fluster. In a flash the room was empty for both of us.
In a rush I ran as fast as i could down the cobble path towards the forest. All I could think of while running was the life that I could be living after this job. I clambered up the nearest tree and perched myself precariously on a branch. At the end of the mad dash I took in the surrounding scenery. The lush forest was teeming with life: chirping birds, vibrant green grass and a maze of tangled trees. I stayed cautious waiting for my prey to stroll past. Suddenly in the for er of my eye I spotted a grey figure contrasting with the green forest. I drew my sword as the figure slowly strolled towards me.
As the figure can into view I realised that there was two people. One a small thin scruffy donkey happily striding towards me. The other was a large round green figure, the target. He was just as ugly and scary as desxribed. As the two stopped to talk I creeped along the branch and jumped. I could feel the wind flowing through my fur as I did a front flip and landed with a thud. I drew my sword as the pair turned around.
Neither of them put up much of a fight the ogre was too slow to counter my speed and the donkey was too weak to match my power. Both were dealt with within seconds and I was untouched. I had completed the task at hand and now was free to spend all my gold on whatever I wanted
