Dear diary,
Today I went round to my neighbours house to try and persuade one of his daughters to marry me as I have been feeling very lonely the past few weeks. It took a lot of chatting but I finally talked the youngest daughter to come out with me. I will make her my wife I am sure of it. Everything will be okay with this one, she's quiet and doesn't really speak much, she will do what she is told and for her sake I really hope she does. I'm going away next week and leaving her the keys for my castle, as long as she does what I tell her and NOT go down to the forbidden room then she will never find out what actually happened to my other previous wives. They all brought it on themselves, they never followed my simple instructions and what I did was all their own fault, they deserved to be killed and strung up. Hopefully I will never have to take such actions ever again with my wife. She's a good girl, she knows better than to deceive me.
I shall be talking with you again very soon.
Bluebeard.

* Louise - I know you've left my class for this year, but well done on an entry brimming with menace and intent. You convey Bluebeard's disturbed nature very clearly, and deliver the lines that let us know he's a psychopath very calmly, which makes it all the more chilling.
> I'd be looking for perhaps a tad more sophistication in the vocabulary to improve this, and maybe a display of your descriptive powers for setting or character - it's a bit short to truly showcase your writing skills.
