Dear my dearest diary,
It has been too long! Be prepared for a lengthy entry this time, my friend as I have been bottling up all I want to say to my brothers (they will ignore me for sure) and instead revealing all to you.
Ohhhh, go-o-o-osh! What should I say? Oh silly me, I don’t even know what to say first! I am ever so happy, yet I am too embarrassed! Just thinking about today’s events make me want to cover my face with my beard and hide!
I suppose I should tell you about the happiest moment of my life. You see, yesterday, me and my brothers were so very sad, as our beloved Snow White had passed away after taking a bite out of that poison apple. Oh how I wept, Grumpy kept telling me to shut up but I could not help it- I stayed up all night quietly crying in my little corner! Even Happy cried that night.
So there I was, sadly staring at her beautiful corpse entwined with soft blossoms and graceful vines, when a handsome, dashing prince arrived! He was smitten with Snow White, even in death (I don’t blame him) and was sad to hear the news. He gave her a sweet little kiss and... she woke up! Just like magic! Oh diary, it was just like those romantic stories and songs I have dreamed of. Oh, you won’t believe how happy we were- I just wanted to pop out my accordion and sing like mad but that would have been far too embarrassing... I should have at least congratulated her by hugging her but oh, I am far too shy...Why didn’t I?
I am sad to say she is not with us now. She left with her prince shortly after. I approached her meaning to say words of goodbye, but oh dear, I could not find the words. She then just smiled at me knowingly and gave me... a kiss on the forehead! Oh gosh, oh gosh my cheeks are burning up! I look like a tomato! How embarrassing! I shall miss her, for sure (I daren’t say that out loud) but I am content with the fact that she is living happily with her prince in the pretty castle Well, I better go to bed... life goes on a there is a busy day ahead of us!
“Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho, it’s off to work we go!”
